Darc hoped that the apologies Zelda claimed to owe him didn't involve her previous attack. Whatever it was she wanted to talk about - or apologize for - he would be glad for the company. She was one of very few good friends that still seemed to be around on the community.

Perhaps she deserved a more personal apology of his own too.

OOC - Rueloon Tournament General Info

This post's purpose is to give everyone a better idea of what they're seeing when they visit the town of Rueloon. There's some basic information and pictures, and a quick description of the Deimos that will most likely be milling about the town.

The Town of Rueloon
Rueloon is an ancient city that once belonged to humans, but the Balar Deimos tribe took it from them long ago. While it definitely looks its age, with patches of grass in some of the more secluded corners of the streets, it’s far from dilapidated. Balar Deimos stand at all entrances and patrol the town.

Picture walkthrough: The town entrance, one part of the market/town square and the other*, just up the stairs to the entrance of the arena and the inn/tavern (to the left), the inn on the lower level (rooms are free) and the tavern on the upper level (minors will not be served). The arena has a small gate where a Balar oversees those who enter. Inside, the stands circle a plain stone square in which all the fighting takes place. (Please note that the debris laying about the stands was cleared up last year, and are now very well maintained.) On the other side of the arena is a set of stairs leading up to a grand torch. During the tournament matches, Darc will be seen here. He will set up two pillars from which will hang a large white cloth with the names of all the fighters painted on in order of their matches. When one team is eliminated, he will use his claws to put a rip through their names.

*The market/town square looks a little small to be hosting a festival in these screencaps, but for convenience sake we're going to say that crowding isn't an issue.

The Deimos
These are not ALL the Deimos tribes, just the ones most commonly seen in Rueloon. (One is also included for NPC plot purposes, but I won't be saying which one.)

The Balar
The head clan in Rueloon. They are a noble tribe, and each one seen in town carries a spear. Their appearance is very birdlike, with large wings and beaks, but they do not seem to fly. If anyone decides to try to start trouble in their town, they will not stand for it.

The Quorup
A crocodillian tribe that does not differentiate by race - only by money. They are purely salespeople, and will not turn a good sale or bargain down. Orange Quorup are merchants, while blue Quorup specialize as healers (also for a fee).

The Orcon
The Orcon are generally humanoid, though they all have horns, claws, tails growing from between their shoulder blades, snaggle teeth in some cases, and different skin colours. The most common skin colours are green and purple, but red, blue and yellow Orcon also exist - pink is rare. All Orcon also have patches of almost moss-like patterns on them. Reference: Delma, one of Darc's comrades

The Drakyr
These are Dragon Deimos (quite literally, as they descended from Dragons). They have horns, wings and, like the Orcon, their tails grow out from between their shoulder blades. Males tend to to be green while females tend to be pink. Reference: random Drakyr

The Canidae
Dog/coyote-like Deimos, all of which have grey fur and white hair that hangs down in long, tail-like manes.

The Pianta
This Deimos tribe consists of plant-people. They are known for being wise in the ways of magic, and also being very beautiful. They are probably the most humanoid, save for the flower they grow in place of hair. Reference: Camellia, one of Darc's comrades

The Coelopt
The Coelopt are bug-like Deimos, each with black, exoskeletal skin, antennae and four arms. They are known for a special venomous spit which reduces one's senses and mobility (in other words, it reduces pretty much every stat). However, they also have a froth which undoes these effects; some of them will sell this froth for a decent price.

Lesser Deimos
They are little more than sentient monsters, and will often attack people in the wild. However, some of the Lesser Deimos tribes such as the Ogres live alongside the other Deimos in Rueloon, showing that not all of them are savage (or at least they can control their savagery). The Ogres have also sworn their loyalty to Darc.

If there are any questions, feel free to ask them here.

Darc didn't normally pace, but the dire anticipation that had taken over him drove him to be too antsy to sit still. It no longer mattered that Kamina was apparently dead: he needed help. Coincidence brought him to that specific continent and region that day, but it felt right somehow to be healing his friend here. The church ruins had been a sanctuary for him for many long years, and his father's grave still rested beneath the stained glass window.

To keep his thoughts from dwelling on anything else but the task at hand, Darc checked his equipment, making sure of the placement of his Romantic Stone. He hadn't yet managed to use healing magic without drawing from another power source; if it weren't for that stone, he wouldn't have been able to offer his assistance.

It was fine, just as it had been a few minutes before. Shrugging, he returned to pacing. Hopefully Kamina would be able to make it.

[The video blinks on, and we see Darc kneeling to the right side of the screen. He’s trying to adjust the camera angle, the technical genius that he is (not). He’s in a calm meadow-looking area with a few trees (a wild area just outside of Rueloon), but there’s something very strange: several chunks of ice are just sitting there on the ground. Even though it’s winter, they look very out of place. If one zooms a little and looks at just the right angle, one can see the shape of monstrous dragonfly-like creatures within each. Once Darc is sure of the camera angle, a smug grin comes to his face and he gestures to the ice chunks behind him.]

Thanks, Jack.

[Another of the dragonfly-like creatures suddenly emerges from some brush in the background and flies hard at Darc. However, he stands and swipes hard at the monster. Instead of slicing through, it hits it then stops as ice spreads, creating another oddly shaped lump. It plunks to the ground.]

[The smirk is still there.] Your presents are coming in real handy already.

[He then goes to turn the camera off, his point proven. As he struggles for a moment, we get a brief shot of Darc’s other present from Jack: a pair of brown leather shoes as opposed to his usual brown leather sandals. Hey, even a noble half-Deimos needs to keep his toes warm.]

Just like with the post I just made on Aang's journal (and the other one I'll be making on Gai's after this), this post is a list of Christmas gifts Darc will be getting his friends. Some of the gifts will be actual game items (prepare to have your stats increased!). Luckily his list is a little shorter, though that might just mean I've missed someone. ._. Please remind me if you think you know a character who should be on here.

·	Jack Frost: a statuette of the Drakyr mountain Dragon spirit (image is of a pewter dragon figure, has nothing to do with Darc's canon)
·	Gaara: a Gale Headband – Gaara seems like the practical type, and this not only looks cool but increases one’s speed (+7!)
<strike>·	Luna Lovegood: a simple pendant made for her with a spirit stone (still has power, but does little on its own – it looks like a small, polished sapphire that glows.)</strike> - just found out that Luna dropped. D:
·	Kamina: a Titanium Armband – some defencive equipment, since Kamina’s a fighter (+12 to defence! Also –2 to speed and –1 to avoid, but eh, we can ignore those)
I still don't understand this place, but it's proven to be worthwhile.

Now that I'm back, I'm still going over the answers people gave me a while ago. So it looks like magic either comes from something like a spirit stone or a wand, or it comes from some sort of inner source. There's no way I'm moving the Deimos from depending on one item to another! Which only leaves the "inner source" option. Maybe it's not too farfetched. After all, if the spirit stones got their power from spirits, then why can't we draw the same power from our own?

I just don't know how yet. But I'll figure it out! There's no way in hell I'll let the Deimos down!

Now that I think about it, Lilia had us draw on our own power to escape that hellhole the Lord of the Black Abyss sent us into. If I could do that again...

1.Top or Bottom?: In normal circumstances, I'm sure he'd be fine as either. Darc would not play the part of a submissive though. Several years as an actual abused slave has turned him off of that. Being a little on the dominant side, however...

2.Spit or Swallow?: This isn't a concept he's familiar with; swallowing might be a bit of a shocker, even for him. Besides, if he knew it tasted gross he wouldn't want anyone to make themselves swallow it. On the other hand, Darc doesn't suck cock, but if he did I can't see him swallowing either.

3. Abstinence?: Inadvertently, yes. While Deimos women are probably throwing themselves at him (especially from the Coleopt tribe), he doesn't really have any interest in them - it's Lilia he's holding a torch for.

4. Kinks: It's hard to say for sure - he's probably kind of sexually suppressed due to his aforementioned slavery. As mentioned above, however, if he were to top he might be a bit dominating. Not overly so - nothing like "let's chain you up and see how you like it" or "who's your daddy bitch?", but in a more feral way, as if claiming his partner as his own. Also, he'd probably do a little light biting. :3

5. Favorite Position: I can imagine him being fairly open; probably missionary, doggie style and uh, I forget the name but when the girl is on top. (For the latter, he would probably like it with him kneeling and her on top as opposed to him lying down.) Variations of each would also be acceptable and much enjoyed.

6. How they like it: Depending on mood, anywhere from "making love" (slow and sensual) to "mildly rough" (faster and wilder, but nothing bondage-like). Sometimes his "human heart" makes him a little more sensitive and emotional, while other times he's pretty damn aggressive - such is his usual nature.
If I ever find out who's causing these..!

As Darc looked around, he couldn't help but be conscious of the weight of his new assets. There was a simple red cloth bound around his chest. It was crude, but it covered, though it did little in the way of support; he could feel a jiggling bounce with every step. That same bounce hit him once again as he began to walk toward the door of Phil's home. The king stopped upon remembering his friend's condition, and figured that going in the front would be pointless.

Then what should he hear but the sounds of loud splashing. The beach...that makes more sense.

He turned and began down the path to the beach. Just as it was coming into view, he called out "Phil! Is that you?"

Oh yes, he had almost forgotten how much he hated the sound of his new voice too.

Darc awoke the day after the tournament in the Rueloon inn. Although he was tired, he felt satisfied for having hosted his first successful public event. With a long, languid stretch, he rose from the bed and went to get ready - he had a trip to go on today.

Some time later, he awaited Philomel outside of the entrance of the inn/tavern. Escorting and protecting someone was somewhat familiar to him, as he had been Lilia's protector several times during their travels. It was this new charge that he would be watching out for that was unfamiliar. All he really knew was that she liked dragons and happened to be an artist. She seems okay though, thought Darc. With an inward shrug, he figured that he would just let things ride out.

So with a smirk at the occasional "hello King Darc" that passed him by, he waited.
